If you are experiencing difficulty with GoToWebinar, here are some basic instructions that may help:

If these suggestions do not help, you can call GoToWebinar.  They can be reached at  (800) 263-6317 at your convenience.

The first thing to try is to reboot your machine and see if that clears the problem.

Also, you will need to have Java installed in order to use GoToWebinar.

For PC Based Attendees:
·         Clicking on the link in the confirmation e-mail will bring you to the GoToWebinar web site.  The software should download and launch automatically using an internet plug in called Java.
·         If the software does not launch automatically, you may click on the launch software button.
·         If the software does not load, you can click on the link that says manually download the software.  This will temporarily download the software to your computer.  Click the Download software button and click "OK," "Save," then double-click "g2m_download.exe" on your desktop and select to run.
·         Your computer may have security software such as Norton, Mcafee, or Kaspersky, that will need to be configured to allow the software to connect to the internet and bring you in to the webinar.

For Mac Based Attendees:
After clicking on the registration link, you will be brought to a GoToWebinar page where the software will automatically downloaded and run from a temporary folder.  You should get a security certificate pop up.  Make sure that you select to trust.  You will receive a notice about the GoToMeeting application.  Make sure that you select to open it.  The software should run and you should be connected to the webinar.

If you click on the confirmation link and are brought to a page that has system requirements listed do the following:
·         Quit and relaunch the internet browser that you are using -Verify that your computer’s date and time are set to the correct year, month, and day.  You can do this by clicking on the apple icon and selecting the system preferences.  Select the date and time -You may wish to try and click on the confirmation link using a different internet browser.  If Safari does not work, try Firefox and vice versa.
·         Make sure that your Mac is running Mac OS X 10.4 or newer
