Purpose

CMI is a full service computer consulting, software development and systems integration company committed to providing complete and well-supported solutions to meet the needs of its clients. The CMI company philosophy dictates that long term client relationships be established and maintained by providing value and protecting the client’s initial investment. The company designs, markets, installs and supports a variety of software products.  The company has installed its systems in numerous governmental agencies in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan and Arkansas.

History

Established as Creative Microsystems, Inc. in 1979, CMI was acquired in 1999 by the Civica Group, a growing international information technology (IT) services group supplying IT solutions to its key market areas of libraries, finance, utilities, the public sector and industry & commerce. Over the years CMI expanded its service to include villages, townships, public libraries, counties, courts, and public safety departments.

Organization

The company currently has over 60 employees at its Dayton location and over 1,000 worldwide with significant experience in accounting, marketing, finance, public safety, and court and computer technology. The company is a Dell Premier Partner and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. CMI has established a good working relationship with numerous professional organizations, libraries, financial institutions, as well as various computer hardware manufacturers and distributors.

We provide a full assortment of high quality application software, network integration, installation services, training and ongoing support to its clients on a wide range of industry standard hardware platforms. Unlike most “off the shelf” software packages, our products are tailored to the client’s specific needs. Proprietary software of CMI is updated and upgraded at regular intervals to incorporate the latest technology and meet the demands of this rapidly changing marketplace.
